Course CSP012 is dedicated to the specific threats and the way administrations operating at sea access to digital evidence on, specific systems - access to Automated Information Systems (AIS) Forensics. The course aims at providing an overview on threats and attacks that have been observed in the past year in the maritime and analyses the attack scenarios as well as the modus operandi.
The module focuses on AIS Forensics, in the broad context of a worldwide safety system operated by ships at sea for multiplepurpose (safety of navigation, collision avoidance and maritime situational awareness).
It can take place during an overall workshop on maritime security and will detail several activities on the methodologies to assess the risks in the maritime domain, to reduce them and draft security operating procedures within a public administration or a shipping company.
The different interactive parts of the modules will allow participants to face System Security issues as pre-emptive measures to reduce risks and impacts of most probable threats the users can potentially face in their future activities using AIS and PNT systems.
